Why are some Guyanese ashamed

I get requests from people i know that i went to school with via FB. In their profile i know they attended Stewartville School. Yet many of them will leave that part out of their bio and say they attended Zeeburg School or Leonora.

It gives me the impression that they are ashamed to say that they went to S/ville school.

Just because mostly blacks went there.
