On the territory of Guyana, past PNC and PPP governments charged people for treason. I don't know whether the government has jurisdiction over Guyanese in the diaspora.

Having said that, not being a government supporter is no good reason to gloat over Venezuela's verbal attacks against the President of Guyana.
