In 2008, the PPP dominated parliament indicated that going forward, continuous registrations and claims and objections will deem future H2H unnecessary. They were thinking progressively so Guyana can emulate how people get registered to vote in the US. Come 2019, the PNC dominated coalition claimed that they need to go backward to a time prior to what should have been the last H2H exercise in Guyana.
