This is Guyana's territory and Guyana should now push for international arbitration and get something which allows the unimpeded development of the region for the benefit of Guyana.
It is a stalemate unless somebody makes a move. Venezuela is in a much better position to make a move. I hope they do something. By doing so, the issue will take on responses. So far, any major development prospects can be dashed by the Venoes.
As I have commented before. Georgetown have to empower the Amerindians in Essequibo. It is the first step towards a solution.
