I discovered Gladstone was the owner of Plantation Success of which Quamina was bonded.

Also Thomas Clarkson had advocated on a platform in Manchester, England with Anglo-Indians to promote Indian made products to England for English housewives to use in a boycott of West Indian products to force the end of slavery. The killing of John Smith and Quamina made the English public so upset that they forced the House of Commons to debate the matter, immediately.  

I got info on the owners of the plantations.
