What's in it for Halliburton?

Halliburton is one of the largest oil services companies in the world . They will probably buy up all of the local companies or buy a large stake in the local companies.

What does that have to do with their investment in UG?  And buy which company?  Guyana has no company with the skills and capability Halliburton needs!

This is why they are investing in UG!  UG will become the incubator for the skills they need!

I can see collaboration with Esso!

If I were Halliburton then J. Fernandez, Ming, the man building the portable oil refinery in Linden and Eric would be my targets for collaboration.

Are they into that business?  Do they have the skills?  if so, why is Halliburton investing in UG?

Stanley Ming fix motor bikes!

Listen Banna, there is no outfit in Guyana with the breadth and depth of skills Halliburton needs!

Engineering for oil and gas is mostly done in Malaysia, all the seabed equipment. Service industry as being targeted by DDL, Ming, Muneshwar, Veira and the other PNC supporter(name escapes me). The Trinis will provide the Maintanance Programs for Exxon, they have a proven record.

Maybe Haliburton is hoping for infrastructure work in the country and not oil but the benefits of it.
