The way I look at it is this way. It is a good thing Fip used old equipment because new equipment would have still been stuck in the swamps just like the old equipment. Those North American equipment were not made for this type of thick jungle.

We need to concentrate on other types of hydro systems like Tidal stream generators and Pelamis Wave Energy Converters to get power from waves. That is the way to go not hydro in thick jungle.
