Many major drug shipments out of Guyana were discovered in Trinidad, Barbados, and JFK. Only little drug mules were caught in Guyana.
Stop making excuses for the fact that the biggest drug shippers were Jagdeo's friends and he insisted in doing nothing to stop them.

Poor Jagdeo was on such a hysterical rampage that he howled that Suriname and Trinidad were CARICOM traitors for allowing the USA to engage in rendition of a citizen of Guyana.

When it was pointed out that Jagdeo frequently hung around known drug lords, even Gail Teixeira, when she was Minister of Home Affairs, exclaimed that there were the things which bothered her. Jagdeo dumped her as a minister shortly after.
