Which makes the most pressing issue for Guyana being the reformation of the Constitution because without it, while the government are pursuing the corruption of the PPP, they will neglect their own corruption along the way. Obama wanted the public option on his healthcare bill but relented because he didn't want to squander political capital on it which may have killed his bill. In Guyana, such pragmatism isn't necessary.

Once again it is about people, leaders visionaries. Guyana had none to date who had influence. Granger can and possibly will but that is to be seen. Note he will need Indian commitment and Indian elites to help but apparently he is rebuffed in all quarters at this point. That will leave him no alternative but to rule with all the powers he has and he has all of it.  Indians should think on it because they are not getting back in office on an indian only ticked. Sue for office on that tired horse and they will be out of office forever. The only chance we have is to seek  a new dispensation. Granger has offered it. No other leader in our history had done that. Even if he turns into a prick in the future remember him for offering to share power so Guyanese can all be tuned to work together. What he becomes is all left to the PPP. If Jagdeo the crook is the lamp bearer of Indian people they are screwed.
