There was a time in British Guiana when opportunities were afforded to young people for being outstanding in appearance and speech.

Well pressed pants with seams that could cut you, a white shirt, long sleeves preferably, a slim tie and a pair well polished black shoe. It was the Sunday dress if a person was a church goer.

A Black village would mentor such youngmen with proverbs to guide their ambitions. Granger, Scotland, Green and Patterson are men from that era.

Have they abandon their mentorship? 

Why have all the old ppl knowledge vanished from them? 

Who is to be blamed, Forbes or the Peoples Progressive Party for making  decent men such transgressers.
