False...most people in the west shake hands with each other....they don't ask your occupation before they shake your hand
Indians have issues with shaking hands only when it's quite necessary to business people in big cities like Bombay. Even if you're right handed, they would want you to eat with your left hand. This is all about the way they are used to wash them TB after #2. I will post a demonstration later.
