I know some people, like Leslie Ramsammy , posses US citizenship.
Gail lived in Canada from 1963 to 1975. She would have lost citizenship by being in Guyana year in year out since her return.

I am not sure a person can loose citizenship this way.

I dont know what the Canadian laws say, but immigration laws varies across countries. For instance, Israel allows dual citizenship, the US does not.

There is something uncomfortable about a Guyanese parliamentarian maintains citizenship in another country as well.

As far as I know, if Gail is, she has not renounced Canadian citizenship.
