I think it has to do with the dire situations Guyana is in economically and politically. According to Baseman we are on the threshold of a civil war that will make the sixties look like a picnic in the park. I hope he is wrong.

He is wrong. Tell him I said so. He got himself entangled with habits to make poor judgements.

He reads what you write. Now, you tell us why you think it's not going to be so.  Don't give us all those BS for reasons.  Give a good and solid reasons.

A civil war never happened in Guyana and it will never happen in the future. It's just a war of words. Just to entertain the idea if a civil war broke out, you will see Indians as non-resistance of the Gandhi era to even call it a civil war.

It may not be a civil war but it would be more than just a war of words. Our politics degenerate into violence time after time. With the coalition government desperately in corner worried that they cannot win a free election and huge wealth on the horizon from oil they are going to go to great lengths to retain power. Don't not be misled into believing we are dealing peaceful and tolerant people such as Granger. Don't be fooled by his religious garb in a Hindu Temple. It's just a ploy to fool us.
