Hope they bring back memories for you.

Its great to hear the crackling sounds that emits from those records rather than the clean crisp sound that is remastered on CD's now.

Many of us growing up in Guyana in the late 60's and during the 70's will know  that our families were not fortunate  to own a record player (radiogram) as we use to call it then.

One of our  sources of music was from either one of 2 radio stations that we had, Radio Demerara or GBS and we all had our favorite time slots that we will listen.

Our second source was the local rum shop that played these songs on the Jukebox.

Our exposure to music was limited compare to the variety that is available now.

The lyrics back then was pleasing to listen to when compared to today's vulgarity and some that we cannot even make sense of.
