Having regard to the above, Chief has a point though I would have worded it differently. By advising his supporters to flout the electoral laws of the time, Dr Jagan bore some moral responsibility for the disastrous consequences.

You bloody know that the PPP and other members of political parties were merely accompanying the ballot boxes to their destination to be counted. That was the process then. These people were fulfilling that function as defined by the electoral rules.
