When my dad worked for the ministry of health, he was stationed in many parts of Guyana. I don’t usually talk about Guyana with the kids but a few years ago we got a calendar with the map of Guyana showing many of the major parts including the interior. My son was impressed at how many places his grandfather worked and I briefly had the desire to take him to Guyana but I briefly threw out that desire. Guyana isn’t worth the potential harm.
