Bibi, this is very bad news for the PPP.
Remember, coalitions after elections are not allowed under the constitution. With vote numbers so close between the PPP and PNC, those vital Amerindian votes can give the PNC an edge.
The PPP needs to plan their election strategy very early. It would be best for PPP/C to include his party as part of their coalition prior to the election. It would make their job of attracting Amerindian votes a lot easier.
The old Guard of the PPP must pack up and go. Time for Change in the PPP.
The PPP had most of the Amerindian votes so even a coalition is not very additive however, joining with the PNC is bad news. The PPP needs to broaden the tent outside of what they already had.
And who are the "old Guard?" Do they include those who buse down the US ambassador?
