On a serious note. You have party stalwarts like Gilbakka, Churchill, Odeen and others who went down into the trenches and fought for the party when they were opposition yet this highlifer who was no where to be seen in the lean years except in his lucrative practice is being honoured.

Prash, Gilbakka made only a modest contribution to the PPP from 1969 to 1992. It was a labor of love. Ashton Chase deserves tributes on his 90th birthday. When the PPP was in opposition and GAWU sugar workers were victimized by Bookers and Sandbach Parker and later GuySuCo, Ashton Chase represented them in the law courts. He is a legal specialist in workers' compensation. Also, during that same period I saw him at some Freedom House commemorative functions.
