What you missed in this topic is that in just a short 1 1/2 years the pnC destroyed the school system and drove 4000 to drop out.

Typical druggie nonsense.   Guyana was a mess under the PPP. It had the HIGHEST level of child labor of any country in the English speaking Caribbean. Its CXC performance was the WORST. Its youth unemployment was the WORST.

In fact even you screamed that the PPP was right when they justified Chinese being imported because Guyanese lacked the skills, even though many were unemployed.

Nonsense, a few Amerindians selling their children in the bush does not indicate any highest level of child labor. You don't have any documented evidence of this claim.

In fact Guyanese were over employed during PPP tenure that foreigners were coming ashore to fill the void of skilled labor.

With regards to the Chinese completing the Marriott with their own labor force, this was not negotiable as this is the norm for Chinese construction companies.

Amerindians, unfortunately are not the most trafficked people. Unfortunately, it is indian girls from poor families.

There is nothing normal in the Chinese demanding and third governments acceding to their every demand. Wrong and right with respect to employment is independent of them making up onerous rules. The PPP ought to have protected us.

Nonsense, a dollar store clerk has no clue about the running of a business. When you sign a contract to deliver you don't agree to unknown workforce variables in your critical path.  I still believe they made the correct decision, hiring Guyanese would have resulted in the same shoddy workmanship as we saw with the monstrosity built at Durban park and Exxon would have delivered oil before the Marriott would have been completed.  In addition, no company will enter into a contract for delivery of such a structure with an unknown workforce.

Dude  what do you know about business? The constant bragging of skills or presumption of vast wealth from such is open for anyone to see. You live in a gingerbread house!

The PPP did what they did, did not let Guyanese drive nails or sweep floors because they were greedy.
