While both Barack and Michelle Obama are highly educated lawyers and both had opportunities to secure top notch legal careers, they, especially Barack chose to become a community organizer because he saw an opportunity to make a direct contribution there. From that occupation, he rose to the highest office on the greatest country in the world. At the time he took over the US presidency, the US was going down the tube and while it was not going to become a shithole country like Guyana, it was where Americans were very concerned and afraid of. Not too shabby right?
