You are in no position, being a dunce, to discern what is American or not. This society owes its existence on perfecting an enlightenment creed. It began with the hypocritical and racist idea that the world of men meant only white men and has since become illuminated that we are one specie and rights inhere to all culture and creeds similarly. You need to bloody read up on what it is the founding creed so well encapsulated in Locke's second thesis on government that "God hath not left one man so to the mercy of another, that he may starve him if he please: God the Lord and Father of all, has given no one of his children such a property in his peculiar portion of the things of this world, but that he has given his needy brother a right to the surplusage of his goods" It is not leftist or socialist to be one's brother's keeper but what good christian do...something the right need to grasp.
