While Guyana will be monitored by international and local groups, these groups have absolutely no power nor authority to ensure that the elections are free, fair and unencumbered. They are simply OBSERVERS.

Example, elections when PNCR governed between 1964 - 1992; it was clearly established by the  international authorities that all of the elections after 1964 and before 1992 were fraudulent to ensure the PNCR remains in power.

Regarding the first paragraph ,are all elections after 1992 Free and Fair ?

There are no indications nor reports that the elections after 1992 and before 2015 were conducted in a manner to those after 1964 and before the PPPC were in the government in 1992.

However, questions still linger on the the validity of the elections in 2015 where votes in certain areas/boxes were not included or not accounted for in a proper manner.

One Election after 1992 , was null and void because of fraud ,that election was 1997, another was declared free and fair to minimal world standard.

There was a ruling from Justice Claudette Singh on the 1997 elections.

While some items were referenced; Justice Claudette Singh's succinct statement regarding alleged irregularities was/is ...
