Maybe DDL should invest in their own estate by acquiring a viable one to support its molasses needs. It is not the most practical approach but nothing is practical in Guyana. That would still be better than importing all the way from India.

Bibi, do you know if there is any interest by any group still interested in taking over Skeldon factory?
The Coalition Gov't has been looking for a buyer for Skeldon since in 2015 before they announced any estate closures. Last I heard they still have not found a buyer.
