Now I understand the PPPs angst. They had 23 years to change Burnham's constitution and did NOTHING. Now this same constitution is being used against them they cry and wail.
Well Burnham did NOT intend anyone to head GECOM unless it was someone who he approved of and he deliberately put in place mechanisms to ensure that if the opposition didn't submit someone to his liking that he would have an alternate!
I remember D2 used to insist that the PPP adjust to the fact that shifting ethnic demographics increased the probability of an electoral loss. He insisted that the constitution be changed.
