It might do more harm to those children if they are separated.  The lady might struggle now, but as the children gets older they will be able to assist. Others and relatives are sometimes not so kind to other people's children. 

This story relates closely to another in the 1960s where the mother passed on leaving seven brothers and one sister. Whose calling name was Sister.

They stayed together and managed by selling milk and grow their garden vegetables. Now they are all very highly educated grand parents and closer than ever.  Sometimes challenges brings families closer together.   

 

I have seen many families like this back in the days. Too much brutality since most of the parents and older siblings don't have the coping skills. Of course there are exceptions. 

It's stated that the mother sells at the Port Mourant  Market. She must be from nearby. 

How can anyone reach out?
