Jammu & Kashmir has much bigger population than Azad Kashmir. The economy of J&K is $25 billion compared to $4 billion in Azad. The Indian gov't. is building major infra-structure in J & K. From tunnels to bridges to highways through the Himalayas. India is totally crazy if they give up Kashmir. Islamists have made it clear that after Kashmir they're going after India. Pakistan does not allow an independent state in Azad. Why would Kashmiris believe that they will allow them a free and independent country if India secedes?
