Little Biaboo is a beautiful little village populated by farmers and fishermen. The people live off the land on a healthy diet of organic food. In the late 1950s a wealthy landowner, money lender, and race horse owner who lived nearby was murdered and dumped in the Mahaica river tied to a freshly cut log from a nearby tree from where the body was dumped. The person who committed the murder would show up everyday to see if the body floated and he was arrested, charged for murder, and sentenced to death by hanging. It was the headline in every newspaper in British Guiana.
