Conscience, as I told you before, if the PPP can fight this elections on the basis of its track record, we can have a decent debate.

This thread has the President defending and promoting his education policy and that's fine.

Despite Ramotar's boast, however, the end-users of the education system are far from satisfied. Jay Bharrat has provided some reasons for this state of affairs.

Where the University of Guyana is concerned, Ramotar's promises are suspect. The PPP had 22 full years to upgrade UG but that institution is worse today than it was in 1992.
