To answer your question directly, since growing up as a kid we heard people who takes animal lives and preform ritual and mention their enemy names is the intension to harm .. never witness such act .

Heard this was done at a certain kali mai temple last nite ...not to phisyical hurt but prayers to bring the current government to its kness .
