The way I see it is that the father had no right in killing the child regardless of the circumstances. I agree on what you have been posting about the mother. Eventually, the truth will come out. Slowly but surely.
He should have provided information what he had regarding the mother and the mother's BF to the police if he and anything credible.
There is more to this sad and unfortunate event.
