Accounting Assistant

This is an opportunity to join a growing high end contemporary brand name company known for luxury fashion design.
Experience using Peachtree and Quickbooks accounting software is required.
Responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:
Opening and maintaining customer files
Establishing credit limits
Daily invoicing
Daily cash application and bank deposits
Credit release for orders on hold
Collections including phone calls
Credit note processing
Participating in month-end, quarterly and year-end accounts payable and receivable procedures
Requirements:
Good accounting, analysis and reconciliation skills
Experience in the fashion industry is an asset
Solid verbal and written communication skills
Strong Microsoft Office skills
Required experience:
