"President Granger, on January 18, 2018 at the handing over ceremony of the Report of the Security Sector Reform Project (SSRP), said that the ‘Troubles’ no doubt, was the consequence of a high-level condonation of or complicity with, the rise of drug cartels and the importation of illegal narcotics and weapons. These crimes, he said, brought an unprecedented wave of criminal violence into the country during the first decade of the century, with the consequence being a bloody battle to extend drug empires and to eliminate anyone who resisted them."

In other words, the PPP nurtured the cocaine trafficking industry because it was bringing in massive amounts of foreign exchange into the country. The consequence of this was out of control crime like we've seen in many other Latin American and Caribbean nations where the drug cartels assert control on the country and infiltrate the seats of power. Those who cry about crime today conveniently forget those days when drug lords were in control and the resulting crime wave was nothing like we have ever seen in Guyana. The birth of Jagdeo's Narco Republic.

You should provide your evidence to Soccu ... 3 1/2 years and you hiding behind the computer screen screaming.

Be a man and turn the evidence over.

I am merely a commentator on this forum and I have a family and a life outside of Guyana. Do you really think that I want to get myself involved in exposing criminal enterprises over there? The last thing I need is for Jagdeo to sic his Phantoms on me.

You mean a PNC funded coolie harasser. Gwan dah side you chachundhar.
