haven't you noticed that the Americans never attack a nation that can hit back?

They invaded Afghanistan after that nation face 10 years of soviet occupation. They invaded Iraq after they face a 10 years war with Iran and 12 years of economic sanctions. They bombarded a nation of 5 million people (Libya) 5 years after they gave up their nuclear weapons.

If invading crippled nations took the US 10 years of trouble and economic bleeding, imagine what it would take to subdue Iran.
Iran will lose the war of course but after 10 years during which time China, India, Russia and Brazil will have taken advantage of the US stupidity of waging it.

The soviet union was defeated with US aid.

Iran has no long range missiles, no satellites and a bunch of decades old planes so how can it defend against last decade tomahawks the us have and would love to decommission on their behind. The US does not have to defend and hold territory. The only thing saving those mullahs is its people who detest their behind and more than once tried to take them out. Their time is coming as well as people get tired of living under totalitarianism when they have the aptitude to truly reach for the skies and in peace.
