I learned that Windows 8.1 is not compatible with the computer (Dell Inspiron 580) The computer is not Hardware listed as compatible with Ubuntu. The printer cannot work with Windows 10. I would have to hope that nothing goes wrong with the Windows 7. My paranoia tells me that someone planned this incompatibility. The intelligence is not allowing the emotion to control the physical. It looks like I will eventually have to buy a new Windows 10 computer and a new printer. How do I wipe the hard drive clean because I will have to recycle the computer?
