@Django, GAWU has not been silent on the closure of sugar estates and the mass sacking of GuySuCo workers. Wales, Enmore, Skeldon, Rose Hall --- the press had published reports and photos showing GAWU and PPP members demonstrating on the streets against the layoffs. Shame on you for calling a workers' organization "leeches".

In parliament, speaking during the current budget debate, GAWU President Komal Chand and others spoke up for sugar workers. Please read what was said by KOMAL CHAND.
