I think I saw many posts by Pro PPP people on this forum who observed that in the foreign service there was a disproportionate number of ambassadors representing Guyana who were Indians.
You remember wrong. I said so and you all called me a racist for saying so. Screamed that I was advocating an Indian Holocaust for making any mention of the rampant marginalization of blacks from leadership slots, especially under Jagdeo/Ramotar.
Well get used to the shoe being on the other foot and take whatever excuses that they offer in the ethnic composition of their appointments.
Brentnol Evans wasn't a head of mission. He was consul general and the simpleton used to have to beg for $$$ because half the time the PPP wasn't even paying him.
A black man was kept acting UN Ambassador for years. The PPP refused to appoint him until a big issue was made of this. That is how it was under the PPP. Of course when people are not confirmed into a post it impacts their pension.
