Back to this topic. While I have searched without success in the past for the Qur'anic rendition that I prefer, I stumbled on it recently. However, one of the chapters is just over 2 hours (2:02hrs). This youtube.com converter does not convert files over 2 hours. Do you know of any converter that will work? Thanks.

Use "Audacity'' it records audio from computer, follow instructions to configure.

Actually I found the whole volume on youtube and downloaded it using the youtube to mp3 converter. However, chapter 2 was just over 2 hours and couldn't be downloaded the same way. I then found a desktop version which worked. So now I have the entire volume on a flash drive. Now I just have to ensure that every word is in there and then split it up into small clips. The Qur'an has certain recitation rules which are just about 6 minutes long which would be perfect. I listened to some of it already and it sounds much better than my taped copy. Thanks Django. Thanks to Mars also for mentioning the internet as it prompted me to take another look which resulted in me finding my favorite rendition. And last but not least, thanks to D2 for all the times he has guided me through these tech challenges.
