The discipline that most of us receive from Burnham era, the lawlessness of democracy would never have made us what we are today. We should be grateful that we live to understand both sides of the coin in politics. If we were born in a democratic Guyana from day one, things would have been totally different. By remembering Burnham, I remember the good and simple life I once had in Guyana.
