I wrote good essays in high school and college, the teachers read them to the class, then everyone clapped. I had a secret: whenever we got assignments, I went to the school library and did research. The other students just wrote whatever they felt like. We had an essay on 'A day in the life of...,' I chose Air Hostess, and asked my Mom for info. since she traveled overseas. Everyone wanted to know how I knew so much about the topic.
