I remember visiting GT when I was very young and it was squeaky clean with Burnham riding on his horse along an avenue that I cannot even remember the name of it.

If memory serves me right, there were also prisoners cleaning and weeding under the watchful eyes of policemen. I will come back to this later.

Why can't prisoners assist with cleaning up of the City in GT as they did in the past ? This nastiness and disregard for the city and its cleanliness is not a PPP or a PNC problem but it is a Guyanese problem.

Yugi I mentioned this exact thing a few years ago.  Back in my time in Guyana Georgetown was known as the Garden City. I doubt it is refer to that anymore.

Blame it all on the disposable times that we live in now. This is happening all over now. Just look at the amount of plastic water bottles, that is just one example.
