COVID-19 death toll rises to 103 after another Region One casualty

The Ministry of Health (MoH) yesterday announced the death of another person who was infected with COVID-19 as well as an additional 47 more cases.

The deceased was only identified as a 61-year-old woman from Region One, who died at her home. As a result, the total number of persons who have died after contracting COVID-19 now stands at 103.

Meanwhile, the daily COVID-19 dashboard released by the MoH revealed that from 185 COVID-19 tests, 47 were positive, bringing the total number of cases in the country to 3,405 since March 11.

According to the dashboard, Region One accounted for four more cases, while regions Two, Five, Seven, Eight and Ten each registered one more case. Region Three has recorded seven more cases, Region Four has recorded 25 and Region Six and Region Nine three each.

There are 16 persons in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit (ICU), 110 in institutional isolation, 873 in home isolation and 55 persons in institutional quarantine.
