We need to be serious about crime prevention that is all. We need beat cops, constant patrols and better communications and response times. We need Cameras at every exit points and an active criminal database that is accessible on the fly. We also need trained criminalists and a dna lab. These are issues that could have been tackled in the PPP era but their neglect here is also astounding.
The justice system is a joke. Guyana needs a judiciary that is free of bias. Currently the Granger admin. is focusing on victimizing political adversaries rather than reducing crime.
Three years going and they are yet to get their sea legs. But what are we talking about. The PPP never found theirs.
I do hope the APNU are able to make some sound cases against those crooks. It would set a precedent.
The PPP's effort to reduce crime was thwarted by Hoyte and his party. The draping of Blackie's coffin and the open support for criminals gangs in Buxton remain irrefutable evidence of the PNC's involvement n crime as a political weapon against the PPP and the Indo-Guyanese population.
