Elections in 90 days
“Guyana’s Constitution provides for expedient circumstances to resolve such issues. Ninty days are prescribed. It means that the GECOM must be ready for elections at any 90-day period. We just came out of elections were over 40,000 people were trained and ink were present.”
The Chief Justice's decision upholds the vote made on December 22, 2018 that the government lost in parliament and elections must be held within ninety days from that date; i.e., before March 22, 2019.
While the government is pursuing various issues; the fundamental and focused point is that the Chief Justice's decision is what the government MUST pursue and follow.
