Kp I never thought big boats are allowed on Lake Scugog..isn't it a shallow lake? I was around Cameron Lake and that is one deep lake..about 40 feet deep where Scugog is under 10 feet.

Lake Scugog is a deep lake and when I say big boat it is relative to the size of my eight footer.paddle boat. There is speed regulations  but people would wild things on the water. Motorized  boats are allowed.

Today I caught 4 sun fish and a 16 inch pike. I just got back in TO and packing for my trip to Veradero Cuba on Saturday  for one week.

Never caught Pike but I caught Pickerel. That thing has some nasty teeth. Nothing relaxing like fishing except for those annoying boat captains who don't observe the rules. I used to do a lot of pier fishing at Captree and there was this one boat captain who used to run his boat on the inside of the buoy close to the pier instead of the channel outside the buoy, to snag our lines. I suppose he was trying to get us to go on the boat instead. He probably owes me $100 in line and terminal tackle. If I ever do go on that boat, I am taking some dry cement and pour it into the toilet.
