FISH & BREAD AT MAHAICA TRAIN STOP
Only the oldies will remember this---but when I was a young boy---I remember my grandmother taking me on the train to Rosignol----then we'd take the ferry over to New Amsterdam where my aunt lived.
Anyway---the memory is---at the Mahaica train stop---you had these ladies selling fish and bread out of these big baskets.
How many of you remember the trains in Guyana---and how many recall that stop at Mahaica---fish and bread ?
