Afros have a very open notion of who is "black". Even some Indos run around calling themselves "black" and are accepted as such. You might be shocked to hear what your North American grand kids call themselves.
So a mixed person who is part black will more likely be fully accepted as "black" if they wish to be. A part Indo person will remain non Indo unless they look Indo.
So blacks in Guyana are more than 29% of the population.
