A heart breaking one reflecting the parting of true loves
Whenever duets are being sung and listened to, this would certainly comes to mind; Lata when she was a teenager, Mukesh very young, the movie was a mega hit during its days, "Barsaat" evoked so much memories whenever it is mentioned; the songs even today could be regarded as hummable hits.
The soothing voices of Mukesh and Lata enacted by Raj Kapoor and Nargis blended so superbly in this tune, it can be reffered to as one of the best sad duets ever.
