When I speak to Guyanese groups, I usually tell them that America has lots of good and lots of evil, that they must take the good parts of the culture and reject the bad.  Sexual deviance and promiscuity are some of the things we need to eschew.

What sort of traditional values do we have when we came from a culture of drunks, wife beaters, incest, suicides etc? There is nothing salutary about our culture that makes one think it is sound and exists on sound foundation. It is sick.

The world is of humans is a dichotomy of good and evil but evil is not as any one group defines it. It has a definition that is theologically based and one that intersects in the secular realm. It is the a deliberate intent on injury of another be it physical or otherwise. Often it is for gain but most often it is for the perverse pleasure of seeing the other person afflicted with pain.

Homosexuality is outside this realm. The only classification of it as "evil" is in the sanctimonious minds of religious folks. Christians especially and Muslims are  the prevailing hypocrites in this area.
