Our fore parents picked up the English language from earlier inhabitants of the country which was broken up by them ,the broken English passed on to their generations .We speak  perfect English in schools as soon we are out of the door ,we are back to broken English .Berbicians, Demerarians  and Essequibians speak different broken English ,one can identify a person from the three Counties by their accent.

Or one could live and work in Canada for 45 years speaking proper English daily - land at the Guyana airport and and when it comes to broken english, it's as if one never left that country!!
