In fact as soon as slavery ended in the USA many of those left ONTARIO to had back south. Their attitude was if they were going to have to endure racism they might as well do so in a place which wasn't so cold.
And yes racial segregation occurred in the Maritimes as late as the 1940s.

Is it racism in general or specifically towards Blacks? I keep hammering into your skull that folks like you have muddied the water for Blacks throughout the world with your wrong and strong attitude. No one wants you in their country but yet folks like LillyM and DG can have a successful life in Canada.
